In the last couple of years, skin boosters like Profhilo and Redensity 1 have climbed the ranks of popularity! But have you heard of Polynucleotides - the latest innovative injectable taking the aesthetics world by storm?
At Sorella Aesthetics, Georgi and Danni are always on the lookout for treatments that we know you’ll love! That’s why we’re so excited to bring you Polynucleotides - a natural way to improve your skin and tissues on a cellular level.Â
In 2024, we’re on a mission to help you achieve your best skin. Previously, we delved into the best treatments for acne and aged skin. And this week, we’re exploring the injectable bio-stimulator, Polynucleotides.
What Are Polynucleotides?
We’re about to get science-y again! Often referred to as PDRM, Polynucleotides represent a cutting-edge approach to skin rejuvenation. Derived from fragments of fish DNA (which actually mirrors human DNA), they un-regulate fibroblast cells to boost the production of collagen and elastin we lose with age. As a result, they improve tissue regeneration and restore skin tone and elasticity.Â
Polynucleotides even have an antioxidant and hydrating effect, producing skin that not only looks healthier but is healthier.
How Do Polynucleotides Work?
Similar to other skin boosters like Profhilo and Redensity 1, Polynucleotides can be used on the face, hands, neck and decolletage. The treatment involves a series of microinjections administered in two to three sessions with a top up every 6 months. Within days, cellular repair and regeneration will lead to increased elasticity and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. However, results will really start to appear following your second session.Â
You’ll need to attend a consultation with Nurse Danni - our resident skin queen - to ensure that you’re suitable for the treatment.
What Can We Treat With Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides, with their versatile properties, offer a broad spectrum of applications. At our medical aesthetic clinic in Hampshire, here’s what Nurse Danni can treat with the innovative skin booster!Â
Signs Of Ageing - Polynucleotides can rejuvenate the skin, targeting common signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of skin elasticity.
Acne - The regenerative nature of the treatment can heal the skin following acne-related concerns.
Scarring - Polynucleotide injections contribute to the reduction of scars by encouraging tissue repair and regeneration.Â
Rehydration For Dull Skin - The treatment is an effective hydrator, capable of restoring dull and dry skin.Â
Rosacea - The anti-inflammatory properties of Polynucleotides can help to manage redness and inflammation associated with the Rosacea.
Loose and Sagging Skin - Polynucleotides promote the production of elastin in areas like the face and neck.
Hyperpigmentation - The treatment can reduce hyperpigmentation and promote an even skin tone through cellular repair and regeneration.
Stretch Marks - The regenerative properties of Polynucleotides can contribute to minimising the appearance of stretch marks.
Deep Lines & Wrinkles - Targeting deeper lines and wrinkles, Polynucleotides can stimulate collagen synthesis and improve skin texture.
