Advice For Aesthetic Treatments

After your aesthetic treatment at Sorella, you must give your skin the love and attention it deserves. To get the best outcome, here’s some simple guidelines to follow.

Straight After Your Appointment

  • Gentle Care - Treat your skin with kindness. Avoid using harsh products and resist the temptation to touch the treated area unnecessarily.

  • Stay Hydrated - Hydration is the key to a healthy complexion. Drink plenty of water to assist your body’s natural healing process, and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure - Extreme temperatures should be avoided for 48 hours following your treatment. You should also use a broad-spectrum suncream with an SPF of 30 or higher to shield your skin from direct sunlight.

  • Steer Clear Of Exercise - Refrain from strenuous exercise for 48 hours to give your body the time it needs to heal.

  • Prepare For Bruising - Bruising is normal following an aesthetic procedure. However, you can minimise its extent by taking arnica tablets 48 hours prior to your appointment.

1 - 3 Weeks After Your Appointment

  • Follow-Up Care - Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments as organised by Danni or Georgi. This is your chance to address any concerns.

  • Skincare Routine - Stick to a gentle skincare routine as recommended by our nurses. This will help maintain and enhance your results.

  • Healthy Lifestyle Choices - Support your newfound rejuvenation by making healthy lifestyle choices. Enjoy a balanced diet, drink plenty of water and engage in regular exercise.

Advice For Skincare Treatments

Your skin deserves the best, and that begins with post-treatment care. Following your skincare treatment, here’s what you need to focus on.

Straight After Your Appointment

  • Hydration Boost - Moisturise your skin generously to lock in hydration and promote healing.

  • Avoid Makeup - Give your skin a breather by avoiding makeup for 24 hours following your treatment. Instead, let it revel in its natural glow.

  • Listen To Your Skin - If your skin reacts in any way, contact Georgi or Danni to discuss your concerns.

  • Avoid Waxing - If your treatment involves an area that you would usually wax, opt for alternative hair removal methods like shaving.

  • Ask Questions - Feel free to ask any last-minute questions or discuss your concerns before the treatment begins. After all, we’re here for you.

1 - 3 Weeks After Your Appointment

  • Follow A Good Skincare Plan - Adhere to the skincare plan as outlined by Georgi or Danni. Consistency is key to achieving and maintaining a luminous complexion.

  • Sun Protection - Shield your skin from UV rays by using a broad-spectrum suncream. This will guard against potential pigmentation and maintain your skin’s youthful appearance.

  • Stay Informed - If you have any concerns or questions about your post-treatment routine, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you on your skincare journey.
