How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

Laser Hair Removal Aftercare
Protect the heated area from direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks, apply a cool compress or ice pack to the treated area to soothe redness and swelling and refrain from using any products containing retinoids, glycolic acids, or other exfoliating ingredients for at least 2-3 days post-treatment.
How Many Laser Hair Sessions Do I Need?
For smaller areas like the underarms or upper lip and chin, six sessions of laser hair removal will suffice. But for larger areas, like the full leg, back or chest, we recommend ten sessions.
Pre-Treatment Tips
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment to help the laser focus on the hair follicle rather than any surface hair, don’t wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams for at least four weeks before your session and avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs a few days before your session.
